The 38th Ward

The 38th Ward has a reputation of being a safe place to raise a family. Many firefighters and police officers have chosen to raise their families here, resulting in a strong, stable middle class. The close knit neighborhood boasts good schools and a great park system attracting many families to the community. 

The 38th Ward also has several vibrant commercial districts made up almost exclusively of small businesses. We are a melting pot of cultures, which is another feature that contributes to the 38th Ward’s unique identity. Our community includes Italian, Polish and Hispanic populations, each group contributes a diversity of great restaurants and businesses.
